Welcome to the Topeka Model Railroaders Club website. We operate a HO scale modular layout that is displayed at various shows in the area to help promote model railroading. TMR is non-profit organization of train enthusiasts.
The Club has many talented members who have many years of experience in the different facets of model railroading. These would include electronics, layout design, rolling stock, photography, and scratch building in both plastic and wood. If you need assistance, our members are always ready and willing to help. We also offer occasional classes in these and other areas.
We do use two types of controls for train movement NCE (DCC) Digital Command Control and regular (DC) Direct Current power pack. DCC allows more trains to run on one single track. And allows the operator have more control over their single engine independantly.
